The Richmond Chamber of Commerce created the 911 Awards in 2003 to honour all members of the Emergency Services in Richmond including the RCMP, Richmond Fire-Rescue, Canadian Coast Guard, British Columbia Ambulance/Paramedics, Community Safety Sector and members of the general public. The 911 Awards are a means of honouring the dedication and courage of these fine men and women who go above and beyond to ensure our community safety, along with the businesses and volunteers who support their efforts.

We are proud to say that we are the only Chamber of Commerce and City in Canada to recognize all four services.

The Richmond Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Richmond proudly presented the 9th Annual 911 Awards on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the fabulous River Rock Theatre celebrating the finalists and winners in 6 categories.
