Advocacy & Policy

·        Advocacy

The Chamber is setting the agenda on key policy issues. We contribute directly to our members’

success by acting as a dynamic business catalyst. Through the RCC, business has its views heard in the

corridors of power at the local, provincial and federal levels through organized lobbying, relationships

building and participation in relevant civic coalitions.

·        Public Policy

The Richmond Chamber of Commerce is working on your behalf to advance a policy agenda that

ensures government efficiency, community safety, workforce education to ensure the business community has the resources, infrastructure, and opportunities to extend its global competitiveness and keep our region’s economy strong and growing.

·        Legislative Agenda

We encourage shifts in government thinking and policy to the best interest of Richmond businesses.

The Board represents its membership on a broad base of issues including transportation, international

trade, small business and federal regulations governing air travel.
