Members of Richmond Chamber of Commerce, what are your views on a proposed increase in the minimum wage in British Columbia?

According to The Canadian Press on November 25, 2010, the BC government is conducting a province-wide dialogue on BC’s minimum wage, opening the door to a possible increase in the minimum wage, which has been frozen at $8 an hour for a decade,

Richmond Chamber of Commerce in the coming months aims to gather the views of Richmond businesses on the minimum wage in the current economy, and how it should be adjusted.

Minimum wages are the minimum hourly wage rates set by the provinces and territories in Canada for experienced adult workers.
