Event Description: The Heart & Stroke Big Bike is a team event geared towards community organizations, companies and groups. Teams made up of 29 enthusiastic riders each commit to raise $50 or more. The Bike is a wonderful instrument for raising awareness of the Heart and Stroke Foundation mission across British Columbia and Canada. This unique platform showcases the philanthropy of local businesses and groups, acting on their desire to support a cause that is so near and dear to the hearts of all of us in some way. Big Bike has maintained its popularity over 26 years through the contagious spirit it creates. Co-workers, neighbours and friends gather and team build during the events. They come together to battle heart disease and stroke – but at the end of the day what they remember is the great fun they had and the connection that was made. If you would like to put together a Big Bike Team for either May 17th or June 23rd, please contact Tricia at 778-372-8060. If you would like to join our Heart and Stroke Team as an individual, please also get in touch. It's a really fun event, so don't miss out! Come out and enjoy the fun and support a good cause!
Steveston Community Centre - Big Bike Ride leaves and returns to the parking lot in the Community Centre.
