Combatting Unconscious Bias: International Women’s Day Panel & Luncheon

Check your blindspot and understand unconscious bias and its effects in the workplace. Join members of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Leadership Circle for this enlightening panel discussion on unconscious bias. Taking place for International Women’s Day, guests of all genders are invited to take part, learning about the hidden effects of unconscious bias and how they can challenge it in their own workplaces. Moderated by Robin Cook Bondy of Kwantlen Polytechnic University, panelists include: Prem Gill, CEO of Creative BC, Michelle Mawhinney, Vice President of People and Sustainability at YVR, Alden Habacon, Diversity & Inclusion Strategist, and Shannon Byrne Susko, CEO & Founder of Metronome United. Guests will enjoy a three course lunch and networking at the Pacific Gateway Hotel’s Red Cedar Ballroom.
