Export Certificates

We offer certification of documents that are required for export of goods. For example,  certificates of origin, commercial invoices, letters for business visas, and others.

Certificate of Origin is a document that foreign governments require. It declares that goods in a particular international shipment are of a certain origin.

Even though the commercial invoice usually includes a statement of origin, some countries require a separate certificate to be completed. Customs offices use this document to decide if a preferential duty rate applies on the products being imported. Certificates of Origin are important because of trade agreements and regulations that might apply to goods coming from the Canada.

Documents received between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Closed for Lunch Break from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.), Monday to Friday, will be processed within the hour. However, documents received after 4:30 p.m. will be processed the following business day.

Because of policy and reasons of liability, all documents that are you present must be notarized before the Chamber certifies them. Freight Forwarders/Exporters that frequently use our service often find the notarization process expensive and time consuming. Therefore, an alternative to notarization of these documents is through a “Letter of Waiver”.

You can download templates for both, Letter of Waiver and Certificate of Origin below:
