Nominations are open now for the Richmond Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Members who meet eligibility requirements are invited to submit their nomination packages. The deadline for applications is 4:30pm on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024.

On Wednesday, November 22nd, the Richmond Chamber of Commerce recognized the top business leaders at the 46th Business Excellence Awards.

Finalists were announced for the Richmond Chamber of Commerce’s 46th Annual Business Excellence Awards on Oct 18th.

On October 14th, delegates at the Canadian Chamber AGM and Convention adopted three policy resolutions championed by the Richmond Chamber.

On the morning of Saturday, September 16th, over 100 Richmond business community members rolled up their sleeves and got to work, clearing trash and debris from three locations: Garry Point Park, Terra Nova Rural Park, and Nelson Road Beach.

On June 19th, the Richmond Chamber of Commerce announced its 2023 Carol Young Scholarship Recipient, Aidan Gibbons. The announcement was made at the Chamber’s 40th Annual Golf Tournament, proceeds of which help to support the scholarship.

On June 1, delegates at the BC Chamber of Commerce AGM and Conference unanimously adopted three policy resolutions championed by the Richmond Chamber of Commerce to be included in the BC Chamber of Commerce’s 2023-2024 Policy & Positions Manual.

On April 27th, Richmond Chamber of Commerce members gathered for their Annual General Meeting. Lisa Cowell was unanimously confirmed as the 2023/2024 Chair of the board.

The Richmond Chamber of Commerce understands the provincial government’s efforts to keep up with the rising cost of living but urges the Province to provide a corresponding offset for businesses in navigating this increase in labour costs.
